The End of Isaiah Washington?

1 talk backs

He's in for it now. Or, at least, he should be. He called our beloved TR a fa--ot, then everyone got over it. Then at the Golden Globes, brought it back up again, and said the word, denying he called TR "that word." But he lied. Is this the end for Isaiah Washington? Is this is end for Burke? Is this the end of Burktina?
To be perfectly honest, my opinion is YES. It should be. No one, not even Dr. Preston Burke, should get away with such an ugly thing. We know what TR thinks. We know what Katherine Heigl thinks, but I'd be really interested in seeing the rest of the cast's thoughts, as well as Shonda Rhimes' thoughts too. We haven't heard ANYTHING on what she thinks! I'd like to know ABC's position as well. In my opinion, Washington should be fired, Burke written off the show. It would provide a great storyline for the show (wonderful, wonderful drama) as well as creating happyness to fans and peace to the set. But who knows? Maybe Washington is going to be fired, but Rhimes won't tell us because it's a "spoiler." Or maybe he'll get off scot-free again, which is wrong I think, but is very likely to happen.

What do YOU think? Post a comment below, and it may show up on the main site!

Washington should definitely be canned. In my opinion he brings nothing to the show except cockiness at all times even when situation doesn't warrant it. I would like to see the character remain just played by someone else.
