And So It Begins...

0 talk backs

Tonight, a brand-new promo aired on ABC promoting the fourth season of Grey's Anatomy. Now, there weren't any new scenes or footage...just clips from the season finale...but it's still exciting. It showed the finale's most dramatic moments (Izzie confessing her love to George, Derek telling Meredith to put him out of his misery, Burke leaving Cristina), with the words "With Moments Like These...Think of Where They'll Go Next" [that's not exact...it's probably really off] across the bottom, and at the end saying that new episodes return this fall. This means that new promos should begin to appear very soon, along with photos, and more! So stay tuned, and we'll try to get that promo for you all.

Doctors Against Businessmen

0 talk backs

Upfront week is here! And while we here at The Seriously Grey Area only really worry about tomorrow's - ABC's - presentation, we also do keep an eye on what's going on with the other networks to see what may be threatening our doctors next season. Today was NBC's upfront, and nothing huge was announced (there were previous rumors that Heroes would be moved to Thursday, or that The Office would be expanded to a full hour), however, something big was announced. Yes, it's true that The Office is not expanding to a full hour, but it is moving to the 9:00 hour on Thursdays, meaning that it will be competing with Grey's. Honestly, I don't think The Office is too terrible of a threat - especially considering it is only 30 minutes - but NBC also ordered an additional five full-hour episodes of the show, which will really threaten Grey's when those air. I wouldn't be too terribly worried about The Office against Grey's, but it could possibly put a dent in the ratings (pray to God it doesn't). That's it for today's upfront news - lots more to come tomorrow, and the rest of the week, so stay tuned!
Also, be sure to check out the all-new Didn't We Almost Have It All? promo either here at Grey Gossip or over at TSGA Main. Enjoy!

Oh God, Izzie - What Are You Doing?!

4 talk backs

Check out the promo for Thursday's all-new episode of Grey's Anatomy here and prepare to be - well - GROSSED OUT! According to the promo (which, God help us all, please let it be misleading), Izzie and George will be hooking up next Thursday. Will this be a repeat of Merge last season? Or will Gizzie actually be a happy couple? Honestly, I'm interested, but still...Izzie and George?!

ABC Teases Some More

0 talk backs

According to posters on the ABC Message Boards, an even newer promo aired tonight on ABC, in which Dr. McDreamy was seen running towards the water and the voiceover said "the tragedy no one will see coming." OK, seriously, Drowning on Dry Land is going to be one hell of an episode!

We'll post it as soon as its been posted on YouTube, so stay tuned!

Promo 2 for "Drowning on Dry Land"

This one is a lot similar to the one that aired right after "Walk on Water," but it's got it's differences, and is, quite frankly, a lot more exciting. Thanks to Greys-Media.com.

We'll put the promo up as soon as we can find it online!

Tomorrow's Episode IS the Fire-on-a-Ferryboat Episode!

0 talk backs

A new promo just aired on ABC tonight, and while it was almost exactly the same as last Thursday's, there was something different about it...we saw the Ferryboat... Check this out from mfkngst at the ABC Message Boards:

Okay, I just saw the new promo. It's the same as the one that aired after the previous episode, except after Izzie says "Holy mother of..." we hear her finish, and say "God" then it pans out and you see the disaster, the ferryboat, on fire, and smashed up. Like there was an explosion on one end.

Ellis...Lucid!

0 talk backs

We've heard the rumors. The rumors are that next week, when Episode 314 "Wishin' and Hopin'" airs on February 1, Ellis Grey will be lucid. TV Guide seems to confirm this in their description of the episode in the Jan 29 through February 4 issue:

As Meredith's mother, Ellis (guest star Kate Burton), who suffers from Alzheimer's, experiences a change in her condition, the Seattle Grace doctors prepare for a change that will affect their own lives: the imminent retirement of the Cheif.
This sounds as if she will be lucid! Very exciting news! I have a feeling we'll either be finding out tonight, in the promo for next week (ABC's promo department seems to be good at ruining things like that), or, we'll just have to wait til next week. So stay tuned!

EDIT: As I predicted, ABC's promo department gave it all away, and, yes, it is confirmed that Ellis Grey will be lucid in 314 "Wishin' and Hopin'."

Montage Promo for 312 "Six Days - Part Two (Always Something There to Remind Me)"

0 talk backs

This is one of those stupid promo things that ABC makes showing off their three awesome Thursday night shows. They're usually pointless and give us nothing to go off (as there is generally like no speaking in them, and are usually just tiny second snippets), so I generally don't post them, but this one is actually worth while, so be sure to check it out and tune into Six Days - Part Two (Always Something There to Remind Me) next Thursday, January 18 at 9/8c on ABC.

New REAL Promo for 311 "Six Days" !!!

0 talk backs

And here is the AWESOME all-new REAL promo for the next ALL-NEW episode of Grey's Anatomy, "Six Days," written by the wonderful Krista Vernoff, and will be airing in two parts on January 11 and January 18.

The promo's pretty explosive, especially considering it looks like both Izzie and George suffer complete meltdowns.

Happy New Year and enjoy!

"Promo" for 311: Six Days

0 talk backs

Promo is in quotations because it's not really a promo, it's one of those thingys that ABC makes that promotes most of their hit shows in one segment, so it's only got tiny snippets from "Six Days" (and past Season Three episodes), and not even any dialogue, but, hey, it's better than nothing, so here it is and enjoy.
(The Grey's stuff starts after the advertisement for "In Case of Emergency")
