Here's some very exciting information concering Lexzie, Callie/Hahn (I think we need a couple name for them by now!), and the big two-hour finale, Freedom, airing May 22! Thanks to Mike Ausiello at TVGuide.com.
So much for the suspense surrounding the big Grey's kiss. The new issue of TV Guide comes out and says it's Hahn and Callie! WTF? Au contraire, mademoiselle. The TVG article actually says Hahn and Callie smack lips this Thursday. The "major" kiss Shonda Rhimes was referring to takes place next week in the season-ender — and it may or may not pertain to a second, more passionate Hahn/Callie buss. This much I can confirm for you: The May 22 finale features several kisses, all of which I'd characterize as significant. But only one is so good that, to quote Rhimes, it will make you "lean into your televisions."
Any hints on the Grey's Anatomy finale — especially Alex and Izzie? It's about damn time. That's your hint.
So, could the "big kiss" be another Hahn/Callie kiss? MerDer?
Lexzie?! Or some couple we're not even
thinking of....?

spoilers
Ausiello posted a bit of new stuff on Grey's today, and while it's more speculation from the actors than anything, we'll take it in a time where we've got nothing. Enjoy!
I've been in a slump ever since that last Grey's Anatomy episode. Could you make a girl's day a little brighter and give her a little poop? I chatted up Sara Ramirez at the SAGs and she hinted that Callie might not be in a rush to jump back into another steady relationship post-George. "I think it's an interesting concept, Callie being alone again. It's a universal issue that women deal with a lot. 'What do I do when I'm alone?' 'Is it OK to be alone and not have a man?' I think it's an interesting thing to explore. But, you know, it's Grey's Anatomy. And we love our hookups and one-night stands. I'm all for her finding love in all the wrong places all over again. Maybe there's more than one? She should play the field a little."
I loved the last original Grey's Anatomy episode — especially the Alex-Izzie moments. Have you heard any scoop about them getting together next season? I have not, but Justin Chambers had some very interesting things to say about that very subject at the SAG Awards. "I think Alex has a deep longing for her," he told me. "He's just not man enough to admit it. He's got a lot of issues to work out. Hopefully he'll get secure enough with them."

speculation
After weeks and weeks of speculation on what exactly could be Bailey's tragedy - and the cause of her narration replacing Meredith's for an episode (Lay Your Hands on Me), it seems that some people at the ABC Message Boards have finally unearthed the truth behind the tragedy. Read with caution, cuz it ain't pretty. (FYI, you can change your vote in the poll to the right after reading this, if you do so choose.)
dappybee says...
Either Bailey's husband or son dies when a book shelf falls on him. That is why she will narrate 1 episode.
dolphcharge says...
Well, according to the sides, it is Tuck (her son) who gets crushed by the bookshelf... How do we know someone dies?
LILBAIL3Y says...
I read that Callie saves Bailey's son and she is suppose to offer Callie her job back, but I don't know how true that part is.
icankillyouwithmybrain says...
It makes sense that Callie is the one who saves him because I read that Tuck breaks like 3 ribs. Bailey might offer it back in desperation, thinking "I should have been home", or out of guilt. But I doubt Callie would take it back or that Bailey would REALLY want to give it up.
UPDATE: Here's Michael Ausiello's Vodcast, where he's got a self-proclaimed "graphic re-enactment" of Bailey's tragedy. It's the whole thing, so you'll get some scoop on your other favorite shows, such as
House or
Supernatural as well! Enjoy.

In a new interview, Sara Ramirez has eluded to Callie dealing with George & Izzie's affair in a "shocking and empowering" way...which equals sex. But...sex with who? Alex, as has been rumored? Or, could it be Mark - again? We'll just have to wait and see.
On another note, in the same interview, Sara says this about the new season, which sounds incredibly promising:
"You know a lot of people last year had complaints about the direction of the show. It was dark. It was much darker than the previous two seasons and as a fan of the show myself I felt compelled at times to speak up and say, 'No no no! Put Derek and Meredith in the bed until they fix this!' or 'Stop with the cheating!', but if everything was perfect then that would be a happy ending and the story would be complete. So, I'm in it as a fan and an actor and I can honestly tell you that this new season is funnier, lighter, and several of the characters wake up. There's an awakening and it leads to new couples, new friends, and new paths. And those paths are very interesting."

Here's the scoop from Kristin at E! Online!
I need Grey's scoop. I'm dying here. Please help!
George is in truuuh-buuul! According to Sara Ramirez (Callie), "I don't want to tease about anybody else's character, because I don't want anyone getting mad at me, but my character, Callie, is finally going to admit to herself what's going on with the relationship with George, and she's going to do something about it."
Can George still work at Seattle Grace now that he's failed his residency exam?
I’m hearing he repeats his internship.

Here's the latest from Ausiello at TVGuide.com:
My 21st birthday is today and, aside from a good drink, I would like nothing more than some scoop on Grey's Anatomy. Please tell me that Callie will find out soon about George and Izzie whoring around behind her back? Poor Callie will remain blissfully unaware until around, um, let's go with May 10. The following week, I believe the smelly brown stuff hits the fan.
Is Isaiah Washington leaving Grey's Anatomy? If he is, ABC is doing a really good job of keeping a lid on it. This much I know for sure: At the end of next Thursday's episode, Burke starts to have some serious reservations about marrying Cristina. And you're never going to believe whom he turns to for advice. (Hint: They had a little dust-up at the Golden Globes.)
On Grey's, will Jane Doe get an actual identity before the end of the season? I hear she's getting an actual hubby in the season finale, so it stands to reason that her identity is part of the package.
It seems that, on Grey's Anatomy, Mark's "failure" to go 60 days without sex must mean, dare I say it, that he's unable to have sex? Am I right? Nope. I suggest you hunt down someone by the name of Christine Frickle for the answer to this brainteaser. She was the only AA reader who figured out what I meant by "failure." Congratulations, Christine!

Sara Ramirez
This article from TVGuide.com sheds some more light on the rumor of whether or not Sara Ramirez (Callie O'Malley) will be leaving Grey's Anatomy after this season or not:
Although her lips are sealed about [her CD's] sound, Ramirez — who has already inked a contract with Universal Music Group — did reveal that she’d spend her summer break from Grey’s in the studio recording the album.
But the Mexico native did let a few details slip about the love triangle brewing between George, Callie and Izzie. “Callie is just showing up doing her job, oblivious to everything,” says Ramirez. So will she call it quits after discovering George slept with ex-model Izzie? “I think she knows her relationship with George is in sort of a delicate place,” she hints. “But she’s a strong lady. She knows what she wants so I’m sure she’ll go to any lengths to get it!”
Hopefully, this means we’ll see more of Callie next season — but Ramirez isn’t talking just yet. “Am I back next season?” she asks with a laugh. “Maybe. This character’s just been so much fun to play. Acting with this group of people has been a master class in episodic television. For now, I’m just enjoying the ride.”

Here's the latest scoop from Kristin at E! Online...
Do you know if Sara Ramirez (Callie) is returning to Grey's next season? I heard a rumor she wasn't, and she has to! I'm in love with her!
Me, too. I can tell you that there is no official news of Ramirez's status for next season; however, I did just run into her as she was being rushed down the carpet into the ceremony at this weekend's 18th Annual GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) Media Awards in Hollywood, and her response of, "Oh. Gosh. I don't know..." was so hesitant that it did not put my mind at ease. Here's hoping she stays!
I'm in desperate need of anything on Grey's Anatomy. Do you have anything good?
Just when you thought Meredith's bright, shiny, post-death-experience life was back on track, she will get close to someone only to lose her. And yes, I did say her! It's not a series regular but someone important in her life.

Here's the newest Grey's scoop from Ausiello at TVGuide.com:
Please, please, please tell me that Izzie is on the pill. Do I look like her personal pharmacist to you?
Do I?! But while we're on the subject of contraceptives, before the season is over, one character will discover that she has no need for 'em — and hasn't for some time. (Any self-respecting member of AA should know
exactly who I'm referring to.)
As one of the few supporters of Team Gizzie on Grey's Anatomy, is there any hope? I'm sick of Callie! Yes, it appears there's a glimmer of hope.
Sigh….
I know you hate the Izzie-George hookup, but you have to admit, that scene between them in the closet was perfection. Yeah, that much I'll give ya.
Please stop referring to the Grey's Anatomy spin-off as "the enhanced two-hour Grey's Anatomy episode with a potential for afterlife." It wasn't even funny the first time, so just imagine how amusing it is now. Can I just do it one more time? Pleeease?!?!
Nothing much exciting this week...that's all! But...who is the one who is in no need of the pill?

Here's the newest Kristin scoop, straight from E! Online:
Is the Torres family involved in the Grey's spin off? Hector Elizondo is playing Callie's dad on Grey's, and he was announced as part of the Grey's 2.0 cast.
According to my sources, this got muddled up in the media. Yes, Hector does play Callie's dad, and yes, he is in the spinoff setup episode, but no, Hector is not involved in the spinoff itself, as had been reported in many outlets. So, Mr. O'Malley and Addison are not running away together. And as I reported in this week's Vine show, she'll have her eye on the sexed up receptionist, Sean Faris from Life as We Know It. (Also known as Tom Cruise's dreamy doppleganger.)
Was there a "moment" there between Mer and Mark in the scrub room on Grey's?! Please say it ain't so.
As far as I know, it ain't so! I'm told Meredith and Derek will be going strong for a good, long while. The death of someone very close to Meredith brings MerDer closer together—and tears her apart (again) from her father.
Are George and Izzie really in love?
They're 100 percent smitten, from what I hear. And, yes, that is a two-way street. There are also rumblings that Sara Ramirez (Callie) might not be coming back as a series regular next season—but I think Izzie started those.
I saw your latest Vine show, and I'm so happy Cristina and Burke are headed for the altar! Is she really going to wear a poofy dress?
Yep. Despite her insistence on city hall, I'm told they'll have a full-on traditional wedding with the big dress and bridesmaids and everything—at the insistence of both her mother and Burke's mother.

Take this with a grain of salt as this was posted as a comment on GreysAnatomyNews.com and has not been confirmed anywhere else, but apparently, Eric Dane [Mark] has been given the option to return next season for eleven seasons and Sara Ramirez [Callie] has not been approached. Plus, she's signed up to star in a movie that would shoot in Canada during December 2007, when Grey's would be shooting in Los Angeles. Here's the full comment, posted by Madison:
Our sources have confirmed that Eric Dane was given an eleven episode option next season which may or may not be extended for storyline purposes.
Sara Ramirez, however, has not received any offers from Shonda Rhimes and Company. Her agent Ray Moheet, confirmed via telephone, that there is a movie in Ramirez’s future. Quite telling is the fact that he confirmed the dates of the filming (which takes place in Canada) for late 2007 (Sept-Dec). If Ramirez had been asked to continue playing Calliope Torres on the hit show, she would be required to be on set in Los Angeles, California during those dates.

Here's the newest scoop on Grey's Anatomy from Michael Ausiello at TVGuide.com:
Izzie and George — noooooooooooooooooo! My thoughts exactly. BTW, don't forget to check out my
urgent news bulletin regarding tomorrow night's
Grey's. Your life depends on it.
My birthday was last Friday, just like your BFF Lauren Graham! That should be worth some serious Grey's scoop. Lucky for you, I just received a fresh batch of intel regarding the enhanced two-hour May-sweeps episode of
Grey's Anatomy with a potential for afterlife (aka the spin-off). According to multiple unnamed spies who (lucky for us) can't keep their traps shut, Addison comes to the conclusion that (
Spoiler alert) McSteamy is about a decade away from becoming father material, and hightails it to Los Angeles to meet with one of the world's foremost fertility experts. Mrs. Egg Harvester is also one of Addison's BFFs
and the owner of a state-of-the-art wellness center, which just so happens to be looking for a neonatal specialist. I think you can figure out the rest.
OK, totally hated the George-Izzie hookup on Grey's last week. That was the last thing I thought was true from your list of twists. I had money on Burke's transfer! Funny thing is, one of the "false" plots twists nearly turned out to be true — and it still might! I got a questionable tip about two weeks ago that (
Potential spoiler alert) Callie was pregnant, and
Grey's was planning to set up a whole "Who's the daddy?" story with George and McSteamy. But now it looks like that was another Shonda Rhimes-tested and -approved foiler.
So George and Izzie actually happened on Grey's Anatomy. I guess you gave us fair warning. Now can you please assure us that it was a one-time drunken mistake and it won't be happening again? I really wish I could. But I can't.
I heard on the radio that Lisa Kudrow may also join the Grey's spin-off. Have you heard anything about this? Not true. Lisa was up for one of the primary roles — Amy Brenneman's part, perhaps? — but apparently a return to TV prompted this reaction from her: "I don't want to see that!" (Never gets old.)
