Rose May Be Sticking Around...

0 talk backs

[cringes]

That Rose and McDreamy kiss took me by surprise, even though I sorta knew it was coming! Is she sticking around on Grey's? I think I want her to. But I'm not sure. Well, then you and the Grey's producers have something in common. Thanks to the writers' strike, the fate of Rose (Lauren Stamile) has not been set in stone, but I'm hearing the producers do dig her, and chances are very good that she sticks around for a good long while whenever the show returns.
The last two episodes of Grey's were fantastic. I think I'm liking this show again! Is the rest of the season any good? I've actually heard the next episode (the last of this season if the strike doesn't go away) is the best one yet. It is Bailey-centric, and Chandra Wilson narrates it, all because something awful happens to someone she loves very much. Prepare to cry and howl. And yes, it is related to her home life and that marital ickiness that has been rearing its ugly head of late.
Thanks to Kristen at E! Online.

Lip-on-Lip Action Coming Up!

2 talk backs

Take a deep breath....
(and try not to shoot the messenger)

Why did October Road premiere on Thanksgiving? It couldn't have done very well in the ratings—most of my friends had no idea it was back.
True dat. Even the brand-new Seth Green-graced episode of Grey's Anatomy hit a ratings low with barely 14 million total viewers.
I cannot stand Rose on Grey's Anatomy! Please tell me she will take her sicky paws off Patrick Dempsey.
Hey now! I'm not saying I like Rose and McDreamy together (jury's still out, if you ask me), but I have to tell you that Lauren Stamile, who plays Thorny, is quite a lovely person—inside and out—so let's not go crazy with the hate, 'kay? That said, you'll have plenty of reason to put a fist through your TV in the next couple of episodes if you are not a fan of the McThorny pairing, 'cause, well, there's a little lip-on-lip action on the way! Yep, you heard me. McDreamy is puckering up to Miss Prickly. Good thing or bad? Comment below!
The last episode of Grey's was fantastic! So many lives hanging in the balance. Any word on who'll survive?
I know nurse Rose "saves the day" when it comes to McDreamy's computer-gremlin-riddled surgery, so I'd bet good money on that patient surviving...and on the experience making Derek swoon.

Derek Really Loves Meredith

18 talk backs

Here's the scoop from Michael Ausiello at TVGuide.com - which he got straight from Shonda herself.

Can you please give us Mer-Der fans some good news? Will they work this out?
Well, after Shonda and I completed our little off-the-record Private Practice powwow, she did the unthinkable: She gave me some actual, honest-to-goodness, steaming-hot scoop concerning Grey's embattled supercouple. "I want to be clear that Derek loves Meredith," she said as if to put the debate to rest once and for all. "Derek loves Meredith more than anything and I can't imagine Derek going anyplace else other than Meredith." And as if to butter me up even more, Shonda handed me the biggest gift a Grey's fan could ask for: a death certificate with Gizzie's name on it. "A lot of people aren't sold on Izzie and George," she acknowledged. "I think the mistake that everyone makes is that we are telling you Izzie and George are the love story of the century; they're not the love story of the century. And when other people find out about Izzie and George — remember, people don't know about them yet — other people might think that's not a good idea either."
Any scoop on Grey's?
I caught up with James Pickens Jr. on the red carpet and he teased that there will be some drama surrounding the Chief's living situation (i.e., you won't believe who's moving in next door).

There's more than two polls this time, but that's because some big things happened in Testing 1-2-3 and the season finale,Didn't We Almost Have It All? is right around the corner...

McBarwhore Sticking Around?

7 talk backs

Here's the newest stuff from Kristin at E! Online. There's not much.

Please tell me Derek doesn’t cheat on Meredith with the barwhore!
I wish that I could! The truth is, I honestly don’t know whether McDreamy and McBarwhore will do the McNasty. However, I am very concerned after picking up this bit of scoop: Sources close to Grey’s Anatomy tell me that Chyler Leigh—the Reunion star who plays the bar hussy we saw in last week’s promo—has been offered a multiple-episode arc for next season. Booo! I mean, I love Chyler, but I sure hope her storyline has something to do with Cristina or Burke or Bailey or Callie or Izzie or—you get the idea—and not her sinking her slutty little paws into Mer’s man.

MerDer Heading for Trouble

0 talk backs

Here's the newest scoop from Ausiello at TVGuide.com:

I find it funny that you refused to tell us who would slap Meredith at the end of this week's Grey's Anatomy because it would ruin the surprise, but then ABC went ahead and gave it away in its promo!
I found that rather annoying humorous myself. I guess the takeaway lesson there is it's pointless to hold back on Grey's spoilers. I certainly won't make that mistake again.
Only one more day until Grey's 2.0! Last chance for scoop!
Just like on the original Grey's, the elevator at Addison's new workplace is as pivotal a character as the staffers themselves. In fact, this one even talks!
Can you please give us something on Grey's, specifically Meredith and Derek? Are they going to be happy together anytime soon?
Certainly not by the end of tomorrow night's episode, when life deals Meredith yet another bad hand (someone shuffle the damn deck already!). You know, a knight in shining whatever can only do so much.
When will we find out the results of the race for chief on Grey's Anatomy?
Surprise — the May 17 finale!
Does the National Enquirer really know what it's talking about re: Grey's Anatomy?! A trip to my local supermarket provided me with the news that Isaiah Washington and T.R. Knight are leaving, and Derek dumps Meredith in order to be named chief.
Shameless cross-promotional plug alert! That very question is answered in the latest episode of my Ausiello Report vodcast, which is now playing at Ausiello Central. [or try in the post below, entitled "More Finale News"]

More Finale News

0 talk backs

So, let's go ahead and get the depressing news out of the way: Shonda is not writing the finale Didn't We Almost Have It All? I know, I know. It totally sucks. But she isn't. Instead, the writers of last year's amazing Deterioration of the Fight or Flight Response are writing it - Tony Phelan & Joan Rater.
Now, let's go ahead and get these depressing rumors out of the way: These are the same rumors we've heard before, but now they're getting bigger coverage because some of them are true. According to an article in the National Enquirer, Isaiah Washington AND TR Knight are BOTH leaving Grey's. In the finale, Burke is said to get passed over as chief and leave Cristina at the altar, paving the way for him to leave. George is said to have failed his boards and doesn't want to re-do his internships, paving his way off Grey's. Derek is said to not be sure about his relationship with Meredith, because there "might be another woman." And Jane Doe's husband arrives. According to Michael Ausiello, some of those are true. But he won't say which ones. Hopefully, only the one about Jane Doe is true. However, I could see the IW one being true, although I really hope that doesn't happen.
Alright, depressing news is over. On to some happy things! We were all disappointed at the fact that this year's finale would only be an hour, but, in fact, it is a little longer. Not one-and-a-half or two. But, it is a 67-minute finale...a little bit longer!
Also, the description has been released for Didn't We Almost Have It All? which can be read right here.

As for now, that's all. More news will come later as more things develop.
